Jules Kazungu has more than 17 years working experience in agriculture, forest management and training, community forestry, environmental and natural resources management and research in Rwanda.
Holds a MSc in Agroforestry and Soil Management from the University of Rwanda.
Jules has been involved in management of multi-national projects in the areas of forestry, agro-forestry and agricultural sector where valuable experience has been acquired. Jules held several senior roles on public, private and NGOs projects. Jules has been involved development of the national policies, strategies and field–level technical assistance programs on gender, nutrition, environment, and climate change adaptation and mitigation and renewable energy. Jules has wide experience in Monitoring and Evaluation of. He has undertaken several consultancy assignments in Rwanda, involving baseline studies and work on M&E of agricultural projects related to rural development and food and nutrition security.

Ngoga has a long experience in environment, Scientist in Soil, water, Agroforestry and Crop modelling from the last 15 years involved in Integrated Soil Fertility Management, Climate Change, Agro meteorology, Crop Modelling and GIS;

Socio-Economic and Development Research & Agricultural Policies Expert
Dr Gatarayiha M. Celestin is a PhD holder in Agriculture specialized in Crop Protection and has more than 20 years of experience in Agriculture Sector working with Government institutions, Donors, Private Sector and farmers.
He has occupied different senior level posts working in Government institutions, he worked in the National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB) as Coffee Value Chain Division Manager in charge of the development of the national coffee value chain for 8 years. Before joining NAEB, he has been working in the former Institute des Sciences Agronomies du Rwanda, currently Rwanda Agriculture Board (RAB) as the Head of National Coffee Research Program where he was in charge of planning and coordinating research activities, linking research and extension in the coffee sub-sector, and representing the program in the regional and international research network. He has published several research papers in international peer review journals and reviewed manuscripts for publication from different journals and book chapters. Dr Gatarayiha has experience in: working in a multicultural team, team organization; implementing donor funded projects, methodical administration to deadlines, multiple tasks handling; and the application of modern leadership methods.
Nutrition and Food Security Lead Consultant
More than (15) fifteen years experience in Nutrition and food security Interventions. Has been actively involved in setting up Rwanda Food systems policy structure through critical analysis setting up the national guidelines and action plan.
James has recently completed the policy analysis for circular food systems in Rwanda whereby private sector engagement in mitigating impacts of climate change will be provided with support from World Resources Institute. James has been actively involved as a consultant in providing sector support to the ministry of agriculture in Rwanda through funding from the EU in enhancing implementation of food security and nutrition sensitive agriculture. Strong research background at University of Rwanda and Makerere University in Uganda, with a recent review publication on probiotics.

Program Director - Information, Knowledge Management, R&D Advisory Services
Mr. RUMENERA Philippe has a Master in agro economy with more than 18 years of experience in implementing activities in different domain in agribusiness, more specifically value chain development of different commodities.
(Irish potatoes, maize, beans, rice, banana, horticultures (pineapple, banana and tomatoes), tea, coffee, dairy and poultry, support farmers and cooperatives access to finance, business plan development, conducting market strategy, market development & market linkages, conducting training of trainers (ToTs) for lead farmers by using participatory training methods, coaching, agriculture finance development, feasibility studies and baseline survey. Above all, I have experience in the following services: moderation of seminars / workshops, participate in the development of course notes, teaching materials and training modules, prepare training sessions, preparation of reports, conduct participatory planning, develop strategic plans, business plan development, performance activities identification and analysis. I have gathered extensive experience working for different partners including public (MINICOM, MINAGRI, RAB, NAEB) and conducted successfully consultancy assignments for local and international institutions: FAO, USAID funded projects including CRS, ACDI VOCA,USAID CARANA, CHF, Global communities, PSDAG; SNV, World Vision Rwanda, IFAD, EU funded project; PSF, AGRI-TAF, PASP/MINAGRI, Palladium, ACORD as conflicts management, culture exchange and social justice in the regional but mostly in the Great Lakes of Africa including the Democratic Republic of Congo(DRC) and Rwanda.
Gender and Social Inclusion Expert
MUKASINE Beatrice, a Gender and Social inclusion Expert with over 20 years of experience in Gender and Governance, has been instrumental in the development and implementation of gender mainstreaming initiatives in Rwanda.
She has worked as a Gender Advisor/Expert, Technical Assistant in charge of Youth and Gender, Programme/Project Officer, and Hands-on Project Manager in gender and governance. MUKASINE possesses a Master of Business Administration since 2012. She completed a programme of specialization in Gender analysis and mainstreaming in policies, programmes, and Budgets within the Pool of Gender Experts in Rwanda since 2008, financed by the Canadian Fund for Gender and Development. She also got a certificate on Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning from Management, Development Foundation, a Netherlands-based Organization that has specialized in Training and Consultancy Services. As a SNV Gender Expert, she contributed to the development and management of the SNV UNDP AA4 Project: ‘Engendering Economic Development Poverty Reduction Strategy at District level 2009-2010’, managing capacity-building programs that contributed to the production of Gender Budget Statements, disaggregating data used by local governments, and developing a handbook on Gender-sensitive Monitoring and Evaluation. She also contributed to the development of a gender-sensitive School Charter aimed at improving socio-economic well-being, focusing on girls and young children. Mukasine has also led a Gender Audit in Rwanda, developed a training manual on Mainstreaming Gender into Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Programs, and facilitated various training and capacity building workshops on gender and governance. Her professional career includes monitoring & evaluation for learning, strategic planning, gender analysis and gender mainstreaming in development policies, programs & projects design with gender mainstreaming, Participatory Gender Audit and Community Engagement, and facilitation of trainings related to gender equality mainstreaming. Beatrice has played an important role in supporting local organizations, cooperatives, and private companies in gender mainstreaming through facilitation of participatory gender audits and reviewing Gender Equality policies and Procedures. She has also gained experience on Disability and Gender mainstreaming as part of a team of consultants that conducted a Participatory Gender Audit for the Umbrella of Organizations of People with Disabilities in the Fight against HIV and AIDS and in Health promotion (UPHLS). As MDF Project Officer, Mukasine was responsible for project data collection, monitoring of quality progress, and developing training modules for Water Management Committees. She has also supported data collection using modern tools, data analysis, and reporting, and facilitated institutional capacity building in gender integration and mainstreaming to ensure inclusivity in the implementation of the program. Mukasine's strong analytical and communication skills have allowed her to address numerous issues, including access to healthcare, national level advocacy on serious issues affecting women's development and rights, and understanding of gender equality portfolio at both national and institutional levels.
Bio-diversity Conservation and Natural Resources Management Expert
Yvette Umurungi has a Master’s in Biodiversity Conservation and Natural Resources Management. She is a member and Lead Expert at the Rwanda Association of Professional Environmental Practitioners (RAPEP) and she has more than nine (10) years of working as an environmentalist.
Mrs Umurungi has experience of 10 years of conducting environmental impact assessments for construction sites including the site visits and analysis of designs, preparation and submission of environmental impact assessments and relevant documents as well as presentation of recommendations based on the site visits assessment. Additionally, she is among the pull of experts who did the Environmental and Social Governance training of World Bank Group/IFC standards at the national level. Additionally, Yvette Umurungi has good communication skills with the ability to share ideas clearly and confidently, articulate issues, and recommend solutions. She is a good team player with the capacity to work as a member of multi-disciplinary, motivate and lead group efforts, and network effectively across boundaries. She is fluent in writing and speaking both English and Kinyarwanda.
Research and Project Management Expert
Mr. Gasore has more than 6 years of extensive working experience in multi- fields of working as full time (Office – based Institutions) and part-time employment (Consultancy-based Services), with vast experience across a range of sectors including and not limited in preparing and implementation of multi sectorial research, producing and analyzing statistics and reporting, evaluation of Baseline, Mid-term and Endline evaluation.
I Worked with FONERWA, RDDP, HEC, ACCORD Rwanda, Charis and TROCAIRE under Regional Research Centre for Integrated Development (RCID Ltd) I also worked in Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resource Board (RAB), One Acre Fund-Tubura, World Vision. Gasore played a key role during planning, programming, coordination, data management, analysis and reporting. Gasore has strong expertise developing research tools both hard and soft Questionnaires, KII and FGDs guides, consultation different stakeholders and different local authorities, instruction manual and Programming research tools and converting them into CTO Survey tools such as ODK, Mapping enumerations areas, training data collectors and research assistants, organizing and supervise data collection process and data quality assurance. He is currently residing in Kigali- Rwanda.

Holding a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from INILAK and specialized in finance Christine has been involved in various consultancy activities of providing technical training to SMEs, cooperatives advisor to farmers, and extension workers on business development, wide experience in post-harvest handling and storage in various crops, capacity building of cooperative on aspects of cooperative governance, financial management and market development, with Also strong skills of project coordination, supervision management of company's operations.
